Chat Damle, an Austin resident since 2002, has built a solid foundation in the service industry. Originally from Bangalore, India, Chat's family moved frequently due to his parents' work before settling in Lewisville, Texas, during his 7th grade year. He pursued his studies at the University of Texas at Austin and has been a dedicated part of the local community ever since.

Chat’s journey in the service industry began in 2009, and he has worked alongside Matt since 2016 when they opened Parlor & Yard together. His professional endeavors are marked by a passion for hospitality and an unyielding commitment to excellence.

A pivotal part of the Pursuit Concepts team, Chat oversees operations at all Austin locations, where his leadership skills and creative abilities contribute significantly to the growth of the brand and businesses. His dedication to the craft and the community continues to drive him forward, ensuring that every venture he undertakes is a success. Chat's strategic vision and hands-on approach have been instrumental in shaping the guest experience and operational efficiency across multiple venues.

Chat resides in Austin with his wife, Scarlet, and their three beloved dogs: Charlie, a 16-year-old dachshund; Maya, an 11-year-old Rottweiler/Shepherd mix; and Teal, a 6-year-old chocolate lab. Scarlet, born in West Texas, has lived in Austin most of her life and is also a University of Texas alum. The couple met at Parlor & Yard, and their shared love for the city and the University of Texas has been a cornerstone of their lives.

Outside of work, you’ll find Chat watching football, indulging in local Austin cuisine, and spending quality time with his family. His passion for fostering a vibrant community and creating memorable experiences for guests is evident in every project he undertakes.
