Matt Wolski, an entrepreneur based in Austin, spans the hospitality, marketing, and tourism sectors. Originally from Ohio, he remains an ardent supporter of the Browns, Cavs, and Guardians. Wolski relocated to Texas in 2009 to pursue studies at St. Edward’s University, earning a B.S. in Bioinformatics with a specialization in Genomics in 2013. He now resides in East Austin with his wife Jenny and their rescue pup, Ralph.

At both St. Edward’s and Stanford University, Wolski explored data analysis focusing on how Chlamydomonas Reinhardtii responds to stress, but his passion for creativity eventually led him in a different direction. With a knack for assembling ideas like a seasoned Lego enthusiast, Matt co-founded Found Texas in July 2012 with Mitchell Hallmark. Initially offering photography, videography, web design, and social media services to local hospitality businesses, Found Texas has since evolved into a robust creative marketing firm dedicated to fostering economic development and tourism growth in cities.

Wolski lives by the mantra: “Chase Existence: It is the continual pursuit of something greater than ourselves that drives us forward. What are you chasing?” This philosophy propelled him to establish Lion’s Share Hospitality in 2016 and collaborate with Ben Gomez Farias to launch a trio of Austin venues—Coast Bar & Kitchen, Parlor & Yard, and Stereotype—between 2016 and 2018. In 2019, Matt ventured solo with Idle Hands on Rainey Street and expanded through Pursuit Concepts, developing concepts like Other Racquet Social Club and assuming Operating Partner roles at Lustre Pearl Houston, NADC Burger, and the latest addition, Victory Lap on West Campus.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Wolski sets ambitious personal goals, always striving for growth through life experiences. At 18, he resolved to visit all seven continents before turning 30, achieving this milestone in December 2018 with a journey to Antarctica, marking the culmination of a decade-long, mostly solo exploration through Africa, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Current Brands Under His Management: Idle Hands, Parlor & Yard, Other Racquet Social Club, NADC Burger, Found Texas, Victory Lap, and Lustre Pearl Houston.
