Tyler Carr, Operations Director

Tyler Carr is an accomplished operations director with a diverse background in the hospitality industry. Spanning over two decades, he has worked in all aspects of the industry growing from busser, server, floor guy, door man, bar back, bartender, all the way to manager, general manager, regional manager and now to operations director for Pursuit Concepts. He has been a part of creating, opening and growing concepts that include The Aquarium, The Ranch in College Station, Trailer Park Bar, Parlor and Yard, Stereotype, Idle Hands, NADC Burger, Other Racquet Social Club, and Victory Lap. He is also the owner and operator of Austintatious Cheesecakes which has been making amazing custom cheesecakes for restaurants and customers for over 17 years.

Tyler attended college at The University of Texas at Austin from 2002-2006 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a minor in psychology.  As an avid Longhorn fan, he was an accomplished cheerleader for UT throughout his time at the 40 acres. Culminating with his senior year, he was able to attain the position of captain of his squad and helped cheer the Longhorns to victory at the National Championship in California. Go Horns!

Beyond his professional achievements, Tyler is a proud Eagle Scout.  With his leadership skills and dedication to the scout oath, he was selected to attend the National Junior Leadership Instructor Camp with many other amazing outdoor adventurers.  

Outside of work, Tyler spends as much time with his family as he can. He is married to his amazing wife, Allison, and they have 3 beautiful children together along with their family dog, Bailey.  His love and dedication to his family and profession is something that helps drive his passion for growth and development throughout the hospitality sector.
