Specialty Captain Morgan cocktails and promos will be on offer for all of the Verde & Black in attendance.

The latest concept from the Bridget Dunlap empire opened quietly on West Sixth Street Wednesday night. Parlor & Yard, a new “Sinatra-esque” sports and game lounge, has taken over the former Arro space, which closed earlier this month.

The hangout at 601 West 6th Street will become a "relaxed sports lounge," complete with board games, lawn dice, shuffleboard, and cornhole. With an anticipated late February opening, there will ostensibly be very few renovations to the space. While the emphasis will be primarily on lounging, Sinatra-style (presumably involving Old Fashioneds and other classic cocktails), into the wee hours, there will eventually be a snacks-and-brunch-focused menu.

Another bar is coming to 601 W. Sixth St. from hospitality queen Bridget Dunlap, who plans to open Parlor & Yard by late February.
